An idea!

I was thinking about one wayy to make our forums alive, we should all start a campaign or something where we all go and post in one forum per day. We all sign-up here and we all do 5 - 10 post in that forum and next day on others. It will put some life in our forums and we can all help each other. What do you guys think?

Sounds like an active/active exchange in the exchange forum at FP.

It will get a lot of activity on one day, and in rest of the days your forum will be inactive.

Consider 10 forums joining in campaign. They your forum will be active once per 10 days. That will sound weird.

That will make regular visitors feel something strange, because they see the forum getting lot of posts one day, then nothing for a week and again gets active another day.


A better idea would be, a group of forum admins teams up, and post a couple of posts in each others sites everyday.
Instead of doing 10 posts in a day in 1 forum, you could post 2 posts per day in 5 forums. Similarly you will get 10 posts everyday to your forum...

Here is a good idea for a great site:

Once your signed up, there is a list of forums that are waiting for their post. Each forum gets 5 posts a day but their forum won't appear in the list unless they make 5 posts at someone else's forum and they do that daily.
