Apple all the way but I think Apple should stick with computers. What they have produced has been great but what they could produce could be greater, printers, graphic tabs etc.
Apple will lose this battle! Because of choice and price.
Android has so many choices of phones to choose from with the Android system on it, Apple has 1.
Android phones are reasonably cheap and have many options, Apple has a $700 phone and only 1 of them!
Android will take over its only a matter of time before Apple realize this and give in.

Apple doesn't have "1 phone". They have the iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and the iPhone 4S.Ilya said:

Hypothetically, we could also say if and when the Samsung Galaxy reaches the 5th generation, it could potentially sell as much or more than the iPhone. That being said, you can't compare the current iPhone with any phone which hasn't reached the 5th generation stage (ie. they have a strong background which they've built from it; comparing a newly released phone to the iPhone 4S is ludicrous and not a fair comparison).
meh. I bought my iPhone because the app store is a better place, google letting anyone put their OS on a phone and load it with crap and better build-quality. Everyone else in my band bought android and they keep whining about it and changing phones.

Lol, no. You completely missed the point. This is why phone comparisons isn't truly fair - iPhone has a strong userbase and a history. Phones like the Samsung Galaxy S series (not talking about other Samsung phones) only have 2 years of history. Thus when we compare one series to another, the age of the history must be considered to determine which phone is more successful.Krymzn said:

Android wins hands down. The OS is great, and it is much more customizable than any apple products, even rooted ones. For those complaining of battery life, I'd suggest a custom ROM. I recently switched to a new ROM and my battery life has nearly quadrupled.

To anyone who complains about Android slowing down over time:
Android comes with various graphic-intensive user interfaces, such as HTC Sense, which loves 3D effects and a lot of colour. The iOS interface hasn't changed since it first came out - it's still dull and boring. Not much for the CPU, GPU and RAM to process here.
I'll be getting the new HTC One S, when it's on sale.

Again, completely missed the point. You should read the thread again, and see what I replied to. I replied to a post stating there was only one phone on Apply iOS, however, there are 5. Thus I said that comparison of sales must be done by the phone's generation in order to have relevance. You've now gone off on a tangent and commented about a phone's sophistication, which was not the point I was making.Krymzn said:

I think most people who used Apple just want to use a phone which can run the same social or multi-player game Apps as their other friends who also own iPhone 4, 4S, or 3GS since Draw Something, Instagram, Temple Run, Infinity Blade, and a bunch of iOS Apps all work on all current iPhone models while some of these Apps are not available on Android.
Plus, there are only 3 models of the iPhone you can buy at the Apple Store, which are the 3GS, 4, 4S, so it makes the buying decision less complicated since they are all fast enough to run most Apps people want to run on iOS.
Android is more for people who want to save money by buying 200 dollars or cheaper phones, but the quality on some of the very cheap phones are not very good since they still use single core CPU which are under 1GHz, and 256MB or less RAM sometimes, so sometimes it is hard playing more hardware performance demanding Apps and games like Asphalt 6, Temple Run on a older Android operating system and older slower hardware on phones and tablets.
The resolution of the screen on some of the cheaper phones and tablets are also very low, so pictures can look kind of grainy and not as sharp.
