This answers the main question. Who is the most valued company in the world.

A P P L E

Quality over Quantity
Not sure if serious, but I can see Google being more valued than Apple.

Apple is valued at 561,752.92M
Google is valued at 208,080.74M

As of the time of this post.

Over TWICE as much

Lammar Wilson who is WilsonTech1 on YouTube recently switch back to iOS iPhone 4 because he claims his Samsung Galaxy Google Android phone running Ice Cream Sandwich sometimes reboots randomly, has poor battery life, force closes, and Apps on iOS work better then Android for him, and he likes the Reminders Apps on his iPhone.

I sometimes have my Android tablet slow down after using it for a few hours, so I need to restart it to make it run fast again. But, it did not cost much, so I don't mind the occasional slow downs.

I had Android randomly reboot on me once or twice, and apps sometimes freeze, or crash like what Lammar was talking about.

I don't think Andriod will beat Apple, Windows, possibly, but app developers will always stick with Apple, due to a large ammount of people buying apps from the apple store, so they wil most likely it "beat" Apple.

The open source, free and fremium app developer community like Google Chrome, VLC, LibreOffice, FileZilla, Winamp, Firefox, Zynga, adult entertainment which is banned on Apple, etc might prefer developing Apps on Android since Android Marketplace and Android OS is less restrictive then the Apple App store since developers can host their apps on third party apps stores, or their own web hosting server. Plus, they make most of their money through donations, premium services/features, ads, and affiliate ads.

I think people buy more Apps for Apple because you can buy a 25-50 giftcard for iTunes, and the Apple Apps Store at your local supermarket like Safeway, or stores like Bestbuy while Android App store forces you to use your credit card, Google Wallet/checkout, and it does not support Paypal or Gift cards like Apple.

I believe iTunes, and the Apple Apps store supports Paypal as well.

I've always been a fan of Apple. I've tried Android before and it's just not for me. I have just about everything apple.

if developer want to submit they app, they may choose Android platform if they unable to pay more than $100 because they development account activation fee are cheaper than apple development account, apple development account need about $100 and a month of approval.

so in conclusion, android may win.

I heard the Amazon Android App store is selling a lot of paid Android Apps because people can use their Amazon account to very easily buy apps, and Amazon has a free Android App of the day.

It's absolutely impossible to pick which one is best. Because they are each a matter of opinion. I myself don't own and Android product and I can say that proudly. Like Zenrer said when you get used to something such as an iPhone it's going to be hard to step down to a lower-end cheaper Android phone. Mainly because you get used to things in life and when you try and change them things can go wrong.

But, I wouldn't count me as a valid opinion because I not only work as a store manager at an Apple store but secondly I own 17 Apple products.

Buying an android isn't stepping down. They're just more advanced then the I phone, and it's easy to customize.

The reason why people choose apple phones/tablets is cause they're used to the simplicity of the product, I think that if people were used to the droid, more people prefer it.

I've also seen that most people that suck with computers trash talk the Android cause they can't figure it out, or they say its to complex. Those people are STUPID. People that know nothing about computers tend to complain about stuff like that a lot.

Most Android oriented phones have issues with the battery life.
Although, I can't argue with the fact that it's still a great OS nonetheless.

I agree most Android phones and tablets seem to have poorer battery life espiecally the entry level, and cheap phones which cost 100-200 dollars or less.

The Samsung Galaxy Note seems like one of the best Google Android phones out now, but it's not cheap, so I think a lot of people just get an iPhone since it is easy to use, and has most of the Apps you need in one convenient app store. But, the Galaxy Note has a big screen, and fast performance for playing apps.

Apple might be faster and more powerful but Android does the job fine. I vote for Android on this one only because Apple devices are pretty pricy.

It could go either way. for me its apple. they have a more advanced operating systems and devices. BUT i think open source company/software will become more superia.

I would choose to have apple too, but the android guys are getting aggressive in the market and so is their marketing. Apple will still be here in number 1 because they don;t make things complicated - product wise, they only have 1 line and application wise, there is plenty that one will not get bored.

Apple also have the "Class" factor right now.

By the way, as for the performance, a friend told me that he had an android with higher specs with the current Iphone. He tried the same applications for the loading on his android and his gf's iphone. Result: Iphone won.

I don't think so, both balance becoz of their quality and service.

I use to have a apple iphone and i hated it yes it had some good free apps but not enough,I found it slow unless you jail broke it then you ran the risk of getting your phone barred.I have had a android phone now for two years i will never ever go back to apple.Android has so much to offer and yes free lots and lots of free apps.I allso love the look and the feel and how often they update there software aswell. So i know this will upset alot of people but yes android will win over apple all the time unless you are a apple fan and have always been,But you look how many people are selling iphones and i pads as they want android lots of people
