Animal Crossing New Leaf

So, for those Animal Crossing fans out there, who has gotten New Leaf? I've been looking forward to it for a while, and hopefully will be picking up my copy soon.

My question is, any new features apart from you being the mayor? Anything outstanding?
 
I'm not an Animal Crossing fan. I always thought it was a kids game. I decided to get myself a copy of New Leaf because a couple of people I know from Nintendo communities highly recommended it.

They're in the 17-55 age range. Mostly 18-32 year olds...

I haven't even touched the multiplayer, and I'm already addicted. It's not the type of game you'll be impressed by from a trailer. You have to experience it for yourself. I asked a million questions before I made the purchase, and I do not regret it. The game is awesome.

I have a collection of sharks in my upstairs.
I couldn't sell 'em and they're already in my museum, so... extras, 😛

...is that weird?

I'm trying to get the mansion before I really start decorating too. Then again, if I get a couple of matching items, I'll decorate a room right away.

I just got the kart from Mario Kart 7 and finding a place to put that wasn't easy. So I picked a random spot and just left it there, =D

The sharks are upstairs, but that's all there is.

I just ordered a basement from Nook today. Tomorrow it's going to be completed, but it'll have to collect some dust for a while.

* caught 3 whale sharks and a regular shark at the Island yesterday * ...so I can afford it.

I wish I could get that game, but I can't because I don't have a 3DS or 3DS XL.
