It's purely inhumane. That's why major soap company Lush is strictly against it, and they even show this a lot in their products (such as a carrier bag with "Stop Animal Testing" or something like that).
Should be banned. Now even in Richmond VA, they're planning to some weird cruel experience to test breathing (supposedly to help veterans) and then put the dogs to death by lethal injection.
