Animated usergroups

Animated usergroups are becoming very popular these days in online communities, especially in those belonging to anime and manga niches as well as dark themed general forums. I love those and its awesome.

What do you think?

special effects are cool to add to users groups. And makes people want to able to earn that group by posting. What kind do you like?

They seem quite fun, although maybe a bit over the top I suppose.

I've never been a part of a forum that has had animated user group effects.

I wouldn't mind to see some samples. I don't think I have come around any but it sounds like a nice detail.

I like discreet animations. Something that is too much in your face tends to get annoying really fast and can be quite distracting.
