Thanks ^^, I'm just happy I got a Custom Domain finally.

Honestly guys, Would it KILL you to look?

Bump Again!

Also, Updated layout, much easier on the eyes.

I honestly think it looks like a default theme. Like the forum was simply created and a logo slapped up top. The board icons are default, the color scheme looks like a vB default theme, while it's a phpBB forum.

"The Untold Story ..." text under the logo just has no point of being there. and why not widen the banner to fit the forum, and add your forum name in the logo as well?

I would also recommend you shorten the board description tables by about 30%. Give the topics/post/last post tables a little breathing room. they're really scrunched up on the end.

You've got the right idea, but it's just the overall presentation that may turn potential new members away.

Yes, If I am correct, this forum is using an illegal theme. vB does not allow their icons e.t.c to be used in any other software at all.

It was on Hitskin.com, so =/

*Looks at above posts*

*Le Sigh* I'll figure it out, it seems everything I do TURNS members away, first a dark forum was bad, now a light forum is bad. Oh well, I'm not giving up that easily.

I wouldn't have posted if I wasn't trying to help. I may sound harsh or blunt ... but I'm real and feel sugar coating something doesn't get across. My main concern was the theme choice, doesn't come across to me as anything to do with anime.

The skin does not really suit the theme of your forum, because of your skin, your banner just looks like a random picture, maybe some board icons would look nice. Otherwise it looks good, keep up the good work.

The banner is a bit big, and I don't like that I have to scroll down to see the forum itself. Not a huge fan of the theme either, it's too dark.

Scroll down to what? It's like....one scroll, not that hard =/. I've seen WAY bigger banners on sites that are very active, so I feel that the size is good for me.

However, you have your own opinion, and I do respect that. Good day sir.

Without being too offended I'm going to give some suggestions on the banner, as well. Use your space wisely. At first glance of what you have ... It looks like you're trying to put a 4:3 screen format on a 52" widescreen tv. You have so much open space on the width, you could use that, and shorten up the height. As an example, just click my forum in my sig to see what I'm talking about. Have the banner fit the width of the forum, allowing you to add the forum name, and more characters side by side. It's much more appealing, I promise you.

And, the Affiliates you have. You're going to want to move those to the bottom. Affiliates from other sites should NOT be the first thing members and guests see when visiting your forum, otherwise it'll catch their interests first. Also, on affiliates, you should have them stack side by side, not on top of one another.

The theme is actually quiet nice. But I'd recommend custom board icons, to try and reflect a more anime atmosphere.

Alright Folks, it's been awhile and my site has reached 3,000+ Posts, Hurrah!

Care to give some feedback?

1. Don't use popups. They're annoying, especially when they move with the scroll
2. use fixed width. Your site looks weird in the header area since your banner is 1000 pixels wide and my screen is 1600. A good res to work with is 980 pixels wide, you can accommodate smaller and wider screens
3. don't use dark templates. They are not suited for a lot of content (and a forum is a lot of content) and are straining the eyes. If you still want to use a dark 'frame' do as we have here on forumpromotion: have the dark background surround the cnotent and forum area

Dark templates are my thing and everyone on my site likes them. I am currently having a dark template made from scratch, so soon everything will change.

Some people are biased for light themes, some for dark themes.

I however, don't care what the theme is as long as it isn't eye gouging. Content is what matters.

-- Sat Mar 17, 2012 1:33 pm --

Massive Update. New layout is installed. New staff members chosen. Forum running smoother.
