When I first opened the page to your site, I was really surprised. I have never heard of the forum software you are using, but it's very different. I like it, but I think it takes a while to understand how to use it and navigate through it easily. I love the dark theme, it's easy on the eyes, and the logo fits well with it.

There's really not much to say here, but as I was saying above, I really like the theme you are using. The logo is nice and it isn't too big on the page. It is a little hard to navigate through your forum, though. It took me around 10 minutes when I first joined to figure out where everything was, how to get to my messages, and how to send a message. I still don't know how to send a message other than replying to a conversation that already exists, or get to someone's profile, though. If there is a way you can fix it to maybe be a little simpler, that would be great.

Just at first glance, I can see a lot of spelling errors. Most of them that I see are in your forum descriptions. Some of them are capitalized and some aren't. It's the same way in the forum descriptions as well. I also noticed at the top "All categories" on the drop down box isn't capitalized. If you can fix that, you should. Another thing I want to point out is your forum description lengths. Some are longer and some are shorter. I think the shorter ones need to be a little longer. Try to think of things to say that would make people want to post in that section. I'll give you an example. One of your descriptions is "Discussions related to Manga". You could change that to something along the lines of "If you want to participate in discussions related to Manga, this is the right place!".

Final Remarks​
I like how different your forum is. Like I said above, I've never seen this forum software before. It's different, but different is really good. It's good to see something new for a change. I do really think if there is a way for you to make it a little simpler to navigate through, please do so. Your forum is new but it doesn't seem to have that many members. From what I saw, there are three members. I might have been looking in the wrong place, though. You should definitely pick up the pace on your advertising everywhere you can. That will really help your forum. I wish you lots of luck in the future. 🙂​

1. To send a private message, you need to go to another profile and there would be an option to send a message. Or just click the profile picture of that person and there would be an option to send message
Yea it's not the average PhpBB/Xen for the etc type of forums where people are used to, but the advancements and discussion quality by having the forums software I am using is very high. It does take some time for folks to settle in, but once you are it just gets easy.

Again thanks for your input really helpful ones, If possible I would love others to add their feedback as well.

Ah yes Discourse... I do like the way the thread discussions are displayed, the infinite scrolling is nice too.

The theme I feel is too grey - not enough contrast. Specifically for read vs unread threads, when a thread becomes "read" the grey is a bit too dark.

User profiles look great.

I do have a question - do you intend to use tags more to group anime titles together? I wonder if there's a way to list those tags or see them in a cloud?

Overall a great start - hope to see it fills up with lots of anime related discussions..

Yea I am going to fix that contrast, just gotta do some css changes today.

The tags can be used to group anime together and new tags can be created by the user itself. You can see the tag display at

What forum software are you using? I think I have seen it before and looked it but I have forgotten the name for it. The theme looks nice and I love your logo! It's hard to consider activity because its hard to see how many topics and posts you have but looking at the recent posts section, most posts have a few replies which is good but could be a lot better

I figured I'd take a moment to provide you with some feedback on your forum. Please remember that this is my own, personal, opinion and I'm not trying to upset you. Rather, I'm trying to help you make your forum better.

Overall, I like the layout of your forum. It's interesting to see and the templates are customized unlike anything I've seen before. However, that said, it's lacking majorly in the design aspect.

For starts, the forum seems too plain. The colors are dull as well as too similar to one another. Honestly, I don't think that's the problem to be honest. Mainly, I think you should change the Link color, to something colorful to make them pop. By link color, I'm referring to the links to threads and boards. For boards, you should make the colors of the links the same color as the category color to the left of the category. If the the category link and the thread links within it are the same color, it'll really make your forum pop.

I can say that I really do like your logo. It's simple and effective. Though, I recommend adding some kind of image, or mascot, to make the logo area stand out a bit more too. Good luck with your forum.

By chance, are you using the WordPress "Forum Engine" theme?
 
Thanks for your reply, i did delay the reply as i was busy with a few aspects of my forum i am not sure if u have checked our Black theme "material design" or the other old one which was just black.

Yes, i do get the point of color Contrast, i am working on a better contrast for the theme this weekend plus going to add a "mascot" for the logo as our members are requesting it too.

Yes, i have changed the contrast as of now and its much more readable and the text is easy on the eyes not like the #FFFFFF colors.
After changing the text colors, the contrast has passed.

The theme looks really good, the website runs quickly, and everything is spelled correctly. The major thing I'd change is your category system. The individual categories take up a huge amount of space. I have a 13' screen, and I'm only able to see 4 categories at once; all of which takes up a huge amount of space on my screen. I'd recommend you see if you could make the categories a bit smaller to allow people to see a bit more of your forum right off the bat. Good luck with your forum! 🙂

Thanks John for your positive feedback and a good catch a well. I will add category display width on my todo list.
We are running in a power house server for hosting. My initial choice was to say no to shared hosting.

Do sign up and check out our functionality as well. You'd love it.
