Announcement centre MOD on phpBB 3.0.6

I have installed this MOD and all appears to be fine except that it wont display it, help / ideas please

Done all the edits, would have thought if any were missed I'd get an error though ?

Please explain what you mean by purge the cache ?

Go to your 'Administration Control Panel' go down the list of things on the index page of the acp and there should be a 'Purge the cache' thing and a run now button next to it. Click 'Run now' and then yes. 😉

With template edits you don't get an error if you miss out an edit. If you mess up an edit then you probably will. If you miss out a phpBB file edit it sometimes doesn't result in a error depending on what code edit you missed out.

Have retraced my steps and checked through the edits, re-installed and it is now working fine, not sure where I went wrong though.

Sometimes you do a simple wrong edit or miss an edit and everything just falls apart.
