Annoyed at Forum Jobs....

OK, so I'm a little PO-ed at people that SAY they want to apply for a job on a forum, but they're SO DAMN PICKY that most of us that offer a job get the brush-off...

I just wanna SCREAM in somebody's face and see what they do...
And then if they're an idiot, I'll kick 'em between the legs, too.

After I'm done ranting...

I wanna know, have you experienced this?

Yeah. Most people are just looking for big and active forums so they can feel in power.

I noticed one thread had like 100 posts and they just had no's.

I don't understand what's so horrible about their pickyness. There are a select few forums I would accept a staff position on.

I am currently not accepting any small jobs right now for the fact that I currently have a hold of 2 one requires a little more attention then the other but then I have my own forum and if I am going to take up a job, it needs to be one that is worth my time.

Some of us are able to be rather picky because of our experience and proof that we are good workers. I don't say no to be mean, I say no usually because I don't want to overwhelm myself.

People should just be able to look at a job and accept, instead of having their heads shoved where the sun don't shine...

People post the Resume on here to give employers an easy out to find people to fill jobs, if the Employer gets to be picky in the recruitment topics why can't the employee be picky about what they do.

We'll to be fair, I don't see anything wrong with being 'picky' it's their chose whether they want to work on a certain forum or not. But they should say in the first post what forums they are looking for and if someone offers one that isn't the genre they are looking for then of course, they are going to decline. 😉
