Post the words or phrases from 2020 that annoy you.

The word I'm so sick of hearing repeatedly on commercials and in the news is:

Unprecedented
 
“self isolating”

It doesn’t make sense because to isolate means to be alone and so you’re double isolated by yourself. It’s just a really silly phrase the media has coined and the public ran with because they love a “phrase” to label things with.
 
"Social Distancing"
 
I will tell you what really grates my cheese... It is the people who are tagging their posts with locations such as 'quarantine' , 'lockdown' or maybe even 'home' etc. It is so cringing, it is frustrating.

Has anyone else seen this?

I haven't seen that! That would really be annoying.
 
Ohh, I like this thread. The phrases getting on my nerves are covid and facemask protestors.
