Another Brick in the Wall

Pink Floyd spoke about walls. What did they mean?

To me it always represented the world as a whole. We're all just another brick in the wall. Just one fish in a big sea.

My impression from that song was always that "another brick in the wall" is how the system views you. How the schoolmasters of the world want you to be. But I think we can be more than that. We can be unique, not just another brick. But that's what the system wants us to be.
