Sounds like you are looking for reviews rather than an appraisal, but I'll give both. I searched to find how much traffic you are getting and it's pretty decent! I'm not good at creating valuations myself, but when I plugged your site into a few that I've used in the past it's worth probably $2000-3000 according to them. I think these values are generally higher than you would actually be able to sell for, though.
As for suggestions... I would suggest a new layout. Not sure if you are trying to become an authority site in video games, but if you are I don't think your current theme is conductive to that. I would say a more professional magazine/newspaper theme would work best. I've never used the CMS you are using so I'm not sure what they have available, but I know Wordpress has an impressive selection of awesome themes.

I will try to create a great theme with great design and use the latest technology possible. I also could gather some money from it, though not so big. The only reason I want to upgrade it is that I can! 🙂
So I will go into making the CMS from scratch again and create a MVC framework. This time to OOP, but the only prob is that I want it to be different from other sites! So basically I will be limited to not use others layout, design or whatever. Or should I just try to look at others and make an upgrade of what they have?
I was also thinking of completely redesigning the forums. If I make it for mobile, it would be amazing since I will be using the whole platform for other projects.

I think that you could still make a layout from scratch but you should make it more of a news/magazine theme. I think if you find a couple of really good ones and combine them together you could create a really awesome theme. I know that these themes can usually be sold for pretty good amounts (anywhere from $20-60) so I'm sure you could make some decent money off of it as well if it's compatible with another CMS.
I can easily make every kind of theme other people have made, that is not a prob for me. So basically the theme is going to cost nothing.
Also the CMS is going to be done by me, still nothing.
Lastly, I think a suggested theme for gaming would be interesting.
