Another mans trash is another mans treasure - I found out this applied to me today.


So Back in july of 2014, I bought the domain smartforums.net.
The very next day I gave up and sold the domain back to my registar.


Now I went to check on it today and found out it is a forum about email servers, and has like 80,000 posts!

I just went to it and experienced a wonderful thing called
"This webpage is not available"!

Very exciting, but he didn't just wake up and have that many posts, you have to try to succeed.

BTW - That theme is so plain and everything is just shoved in sections, so how does he even have members?

I think its sad that people don't even try but earn things anyways.

I hate to rain on your parade, but almost all of those posts are spam. A lot of boards end up like this if they don't have any spam protection and are left to sit for long periods of time.
 
I agree with Pandaa on this. Almost all of the posts are spam. The owner likely left the forum a while ago and has not returned. When that happens, spam runs free.
