My son has obviously ticked the "remeber me" box from my PC on the login page, now his username and password appear in every members profile overview in the ACP see image:

overview.webp

Since he did this i have had several new members register, but their usernames do not appear as "newest member" nor have they signed back in, is my sons automatic log in blocking these new users.

Answers and fix asap please

Hey mate,

What your son has done is logged into the ACP and saved the password using firefox's auto password save feature.

It's nothing to worry about, every page you go into the ACP that has a password option will often include your username and the password in the boxes, simply remove them to do any edits and it'll work fine.

As for "but their usernames do not appear as "newest member" nor have they signed back in, is my sons automatic log in blocking these new users." Do you mean, if they register they don't come up as the newest user on the index page? If so it could often be due to activation set as on, and they haven't activated their accounts, that would also explain why they haven't logged in 😉

Edit: Ive noticed you've marked this as solved, does this mean you've fixed the issue?

Well it sort of fixed itself, I had someone sign up, and activate and the newest member name changed, so I assume it's not an issue ?
