Another promotion forum

I've had a bit of an urge to start a promotion forum but I'm curious as to whether others would be interested in such a thing or is there simply no need?

I've not made any plans or even got a name yet because I'm just not sure about it.
 
What offerings would you have that other promotion sites don't?
 
I give you kudos for the idea. Forums are hard enough. Let us know if you decide on one 🙂
 
Why not make a Promote YouTube or twitch Forum/site 🙂 you not going to loose out as there are not many of them around

You never know how successful it'll be unless you try. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

Ohhh, wonder what is going to be, maybe he's doing the idea that I have said, if so then add me as a mod 😛 If not then I join anyway as a super member

I think you would have to add that in, doing a promotion site based around just them won't fly.
Maybe FP has plans for that and more as well.😛😛😛

How does this compete with people doing self-promo posts on social media (one popular influencer making a post for other content creators to drop their channel links) or self-promo discord servers?

Youtubers and Twitch peeps are more likely to use social media and chat apps rather than a forum.

If they're gamers, half of them might refuse to use forums in 2022, or may just sign up and never return.

This is the main question to think about.

I've seen people try to make promotion forums for years and most of them have flopped like Ozzy said:

Main reasons being:

(1) if you can't get a fresh set of people who aren't FP members on the new promotion forum.
(2) Katrina's post.
(3) Just wanting to start a new forum for the heck of it.

True but doesn't stop them from doing it to all 🙂 I mean post your video on the forum that will then get indexed to google and tank up with maybe SEO.

If the forum has Twitter or facebook then when posting on forums it is posted maybe on Twitter using the website social media. there are many ways
