The Philippines has just implemented the anti-distracted driving law which prohibits the use of cellphone while in the steering wheel. Even in a traffic stop, the driver is not allowed to use his phone unless he pulls over. There are unresolved issues until now. In fact, that implementation of the said law was suspended for 2 months because the authorities were having a hard time in formulating the implementing rules and regulation. They are afraid that the said law would be used for extortion. And I agree to that.

If a wreck does take place, they can look at the cell phone history. However, without a wreck, I don't know how it would be enforced.

They have that law here in Canada too. I like it and they are really cracking down on people who are on their phones while driving. Let's keep the road safe for everyone.

Yeah, that's a very good law, we need to keep the road safe, 70% of road accidents are due to distractions, and most of them are through mobile phones, we should endeavor to keep, ourselves safe.
