Hey!

I need some very, very easy questions that anyone could answer, except a spam-bot. I want to make a Q&A captcha system for something I'm making so I need as many good questions as possible.

Examples:
What color is the sky? (blue)
What is 1 + 1? (2)

Please provide the answer.

Thanks. 🙂

Spell anti-bot backwards: tob-itna

GURANTEED no bot can do it.
I already have one like that on the list, except it's a shorter word without a hyphen. I may add a couple more like that.

One of the most popular anti-spam bots questions that I've seen is, "what is the name of this forum/site?" (insert whatever site name is here). This is especially helpful if bots just come to your site at random.

@Ashley: Wouldn't work, because it's an automated script. Anyway, there are so many differant ways to write a name (with and without "the", for example)

@eXtreme: Good idea.

What's my Favourite tv show? :lol:

Hmm.

Who directed Alice in Wonderland :O Gives the user something to look up, thus the spambot has no knowing of it.

@OscarG: That would take too long.

@keithsigsports: already on the rotation.

Leave this field blank.

That's a great one. I'll make sure to add that. 🙂

Alternatively, "delete the word in the following text box". << Would require PHP or JS addition though, but I'm sure 99.99% of bots only add data, not remove data 🙂

Sounds like it'd be good, but my database system doesn't support it. I may work it in though, thanks for the suggestion.

That's true. I guess I never thought of that.

How many fingers does a regular human-being has (including the thumb)?

That would be a good one, as we would be smart enough to leave the field blank (at least I hope we all would) but bots could probably type in that text as though there were an actual answer to the request, or maybe they woulld think it was like a regular Captcha, where you have to type the words exactly as they appear.

I've also seen the answer in a drop list asking you to select the right one. It seemed very original to me.

I have a select one of the two options, while having no option selected as default. not sure how effective is has been. :lol:
