Any App devs here?

Just wandering if there are any iOS App developers here on FP.

I've learn how to make apps at school, I'm looking at buying the SDK and making a couple.

Hmm, sounds like a fun thing to do. I'd love to have an App for my blog, don't know how much they cost to make though, I've heard it's about $50 to get on the App Dev Programme.

There's something called AppsBar, you can create apps in that but you can't make the next angry birds in it 😉

And do you have to have a Mac?

Ah I see, but what I mean is, do you have to own a Mac to be able to make Apps?

From a few searches it seems like you can. Apple offers tools for Mac's but for Windows etc it seems that third parties handle them.

If you want to learn how to create an apple app, check out http://thenewboston.com it has video tutorials on how to to create apple apps, android apps as well as tutorials on all other programming languages.

You don't need a mac to make android applications. Android applications are made using Java / Android SDK.

I think the idevice apps use the iOS SDK and can be used on windows.

Ah cool. Might look into it, although I'd like someone else to do it as I'm really busy.
