If you sold any domain or site recently and got a story or some form of exp to share from that transaction do so in here.

No need to give a money figure you made but if you do... Keep in mind you share the profits you made too. Cause the money you got should be decreased by the total amount of investment and costs you put into the site or domain.

I can't say I made any profits to be honest. I didn't sell two sites recently for the money. I did it cause I could not support them in being used or properly exploited. The amount of time it took to find a buyer was also quite long. I guess I got lucky.

I made a nice amount. I think it was a decent amount for someone who is a hobby webmaster like me.

Lets see... I sold some old domains I wasn't using anymore a few years ago and made a slight profit. I think I sold them all for $20 or $25 each and originally registered them for $10 each.

I sold a vBulletin software license I wasn't using anymore and lost money from that one, because obviously nobody is going to pay full price for a "used" license. Same goes for my old IPB license. I think I sold them both for half what I paid for them originally (lets not even talk about all the renewal fee's I paid to vBull and IPB while I was actively using their products). But, I'd rather get something than nothing. 😛
