I like the bands, Disturbed, Korn, Godsmack, Slipknot, and Linkin Park.

I haven't listened to much of linkin Park since meteora because i didnt like their new stuff.

Slipknot is releasing a new album soon, i think in august,
and I hope Disturbed releases a new album as well.

What do you guys think?

Oh yeah I am into the really underground stuff like Nickelback and Coldplay I rock out at night when my parents go to sleep and they yell at me to turn it off LOL but im a rebel

I don't like Linkin Park, but the others you mentioned are all pretty decent. I saw Godsmack live a few months ago, and before they played Sully Erna gave this really motivational speech, then they played a slide show of rock legends who had died. It was amazing. And their performance of VooDoo live was breath taking.

Linkin Park had 2 good CD's then the rest is trash.

What are you talking about? You clearly know nothing about music or nickelback. Nickelback is frequently #1 in the TOP 40. The only way to get into the TOP 40 is to be the best band in the world, everyone knows this. You're just a hater.

You have to be more specific. Are you looking for something along the lines of folk metal, technical death metal, death metal, grindcore, thrash metal, power metal, or progressive death metal?

If he doesn't want screamy stuff then death, grind, black metal is out. Even most folk metal.
