I have the thesis theme, but because of my lack of css/html knowledge, I could not create the type of website that you can using Thesis.

Thesis is a premium wordpress theme (you have to pay for thesis), and this theme has a lot of settings to help you create the theme the way you want it. It is created by DIY Themes. (http://diythemes.com)

Here are 2 Lisa Videos that explain Thesis:

IMO, Thesis is a very good theme to use if you don't have all the technical know how, as you can use what Thesis provides to create a great site.

If you'd like to learn more about thesis, Lisa does provide other video's on her channels:
http://youtube.com/lisa3876 or http://youtube.com/2createawebsite and do a search for thesis on her channels.

Here's a Youtube search for Thesis: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Thesis&aq=f
& a Google Search: http://www.google.com/#sclient=psy-ab&h ... =p&pdl=500

So, what do you think of the Thesis Wordpress Theme?

Actually, Thesis is a theme framework. It's more leaned towards users that can create or want to buy child themes for it. However, if you are an experienced designer and can find your way around Wordpress, you can modify the framework to your needs without creating a child theme.

I haven't tried it yet, though I always wanted to buy a copy. But I already started working on my new blog theme with Thematic, so I guess Thesis will have to wait a bit.

Anyway, Thesis is and will be for a long time one of the giants when it comes to Wordpress frameworks. Genesis is also another great example of stable frameworks.

I use Thesis, on my blog at http://mxproject.com/blog , and I like how easy it is to upload a header image, change the favicon. It is also cool that I can change the sidebar size and location very easily with the control panel.

Changing the text style, and color, and the page background colours are also very easy.

Thesis OpenHooks is agood plug-in for easily positioning objects in Thesis.

I heard Thesis 2.0 is coming out pretty soon according to Chris Pearson Twitter account @pearsonified .
