XF2 did feel very sluggish when I played with it on the official site.I feel that XF 2 is little bit on the heavy side. I am using their default them and no addons. The webpage loading time has increased drastically. I don't know whether it is due to my shared hosting. But XF 1.5 ran very smoothly and it felt light.
I'm not sure if that's xenForo's fault. I've even been having issues connecting now and again but I think the issue is Cloudflare. For instance, the quick topic took four seconds to load.
It was an issue on XenForo.com, if XenForo can't properly setup their site with their own software as you suggest, then who can? lolI'm not sure if that's xenForo's fault. I've even been having issues connecting now and again but I think the issue is Cloudflare.
But they use Cloudflare. I've gotten many Cloudflare errors before and when I don't get the errors, it seems like the site does not even respond. But if I use a proxy / VPN, it loads fine.It was an issue on XenForo.com, if XenForo can't properly setup their site with their own software as you suggest, then who can? lolI'm not sure if that's xenForo's fault. I think I really started liking Xenforo after the 2.0 release more. I know it isn't the best version of a forum software, but it does have all the features you would expect from a forum. What do you think so far? I prefer it much more to Xenforo 1. Easier to use. Obviously the add-ons are quite lacking right now, but out of box, I can't complain.
I've used Cloudflare for many years and it has always worked perfectly for my sites (except for when my server was down, but it's hard to fault Cloudflare there), albeit not XenForo, but it doesn't take much work to setup Cloudflare properly at all.But they use Cloudflare. Have you ever used xenForo before?

Not anymore they aren't (probably because of the past issues they've had with it). But your issue is different than mine. Could be my ISP.. could be server-side rate limiting because I hit the page often at times.. who knows. Also, they are not using Cloudflare, from the looks of it. The problem is clearly on the server-side here.
I would like to think that cPanel is competent enough to implement support for a proxy properly when I'm capable of doing so with approximately eight lines of code.@Azareal In cPanel i have the option to enable cloudflare. But i don't know how good it will be if enabled.
