Anyone have experience with buying Facebook Ads?

I am thinking of purchasing Facebook ads to gain more targeted likes on my page. Has anyone done this before?

Facebook ads are very good to buy for website promotion. Buying Facebook ads will help your website to get exposed to a much greater circle so that each person logging into Facebook can view your website on the ads panel. You also have the options of customizing your visitors with age groups and countries. They are really helpful.

I have had great success with Facebook ads, especially if you are running a competition at the same time. Although Facebook ads can be quite expensive, I feel they are well worth the money because they can be targeted towards your ideal audience. Take advantage of the keywords/subjects part of creating an ad 🙂

Honestly, I'm against using Facebook ads. Have I seen them work for different people? Yes, but I will never use them as I have seen even more people waste their money with Facebook ads. I just feel like you can spend your money better, like maybe with Twitter ads or spending your money on related sites.

Facebook ads are good, I must admit. It shows how many people your ad has reached and the possibility of 'boosting' your ad so it reaches more. The only problem is, if you don't have a big budget, your credit won't last very long.

I tested the system out with $10 and it went within a couple of days. Also, if you do not cancel or pause your add after you use your credit/money, they will continue to withdraw the required money from your bank. This happened to me, and they continued to take money, which I thought wouldn't happen as I had used up all the credit I had deposited on to the website.

Nothing much from those I'm afraid. What generally you hear is not so positive. I've promoted my FB page with regular small sums of money, but what I've done in advertising was not much I admit, but it did not yield.
