Anyone here using Firefox 7 which got released today?

Is this a joke? Wasn't 6 just released? Firefox is changing its versions quicker than Hugh Hefner has to change condoms.

XD

I noticed that too actually. I don't mind. Didn't see any significant differences though... until now.

I havent upgraded yet. They are just doing what Google is doing. That is, make it look like they are releasing new versions, when technically it is mainly security and bug fixes, and some minor features.

I will probably try it out now that you mentioned it. I used to be a long time FireFox user before I switched to Chrome.

Might check it out.

Edit: Am trying it, goes slightly faster than other versions.

^Wow you are just wanting to be infected with malware.

Firefox 7 has finally gotten the memory leak issue fixed,or atleast that is what mozilla has said.

I think they are updating Firefox faster these days because they are trying to keep up with other browsers (like Chrome which is almost constantly updating).

They we're supposed to be fixing the memory leak issues in this release, anyone notice any big difference in regards to ram usage?

Well right now I'm not really worried about upgrading to firefox 7 yet. I'm still running on number 6 and going to wait to see any known bugs in 7 before upgrading to it.

Is it my imagination or did a new upgrade happen? 😵

Another version of Firefox. ROFL.

lol, i'm still on firefox 3 😛
same but that's because I haven't used Firefox since I dunno when, I used to use it for FireFTP but now I use filezilla for that.

Old software sometimes has advantages over new versions even with the risk of malware. For example I've been using utorrent 1.8.5 since it came out and haven't upgrade since the newer versions are completely crap.

I dunno since I haven't actually used it in such a long time. When I last used it I think the current version was 4.
