Has anyone else been experiencing problems on HostGator for the past 2 days ?!

My site is down, AGAIN

I was just told my server is experiencing a "high load". I said yeah, really ? I informed them of the load issues two days ago and was told it was fine.

Now because no one took me seriously the server is overloaded.
I have no E-mail, no Forum, no cPanel ! GR

Yah, been with HG for a few months and nothing but problems and overloaded server (hopefully will be moving to Cirtex or somewhere else soon....), expect much more of this as they don't care to do anything about it... ~evil~

Well this has happened to me twice. It was resolved each time but it seems to happen often on every server. People abuse the server and it causes everything to go down until they terminate the site causing the issues.

Cirtex only advertises 99.5% uptime -n-

I wish I had the need for a dedicated server.

I've seen a couple of people on HostGator have this issue. Luckily, I'm on a good server with LunarPages, which has little downtime. ~cheesey_grin~

I'm waiting to hear back from HostGator about my trouble ticket. Last time this happened they gave me a month of service free. If they don't do the same this time I'll likely change hosts. -roll-

~frown~ I've never been offered a month or even a week of free service for seeing downtime with them... makes me hate them even more now....

Weird.

I've heard good things about BlueHost. I was just looking at their services and they even offer this http://serverstatus.bluehost.com/?domain=blewhost.com which I think is pretty neat.

The whole server I was on went down because someone was using all the resources. My server is Gator458

Just keep bugging support that is the best way... It didn't work for me with Lunarpages though and they just took 24 hours to reply each time so it didn't even look like i was bugging them but with my current host if you keep bugging them they will sort it out. Mind you i haven't had to open a new ticket with cirtex since the server change a month or so ago -lol-

It took three days, removing two abusing users and fixing a IP trigger issue to get my site back to normal. They gave me a full month of hosting free and said they were keeping closer track of the server to make sure it didn't happen again.

What server are you on ?
