Anyone use any Top Site Listing Forums?

Just curious on who here have submitted their forums to any Top Site Forums, where your members click your button and vote for your forum.

I've only registered for 2 , and may get involved with others.

I'm currently #1 on Top 100 Brawl Forums

I usually sign up with a special referral logger URL (http://r.spyka.co.uk) and that allows me to view stats such as traffic coming in from the topsite or affiliate, if the traffic coming in isn't that good I just remove my site from the toplist.

In general I don't bother with topsites though as the majority are useless. there are some good ones - like top.org but most don't provide much traffic

I have signed up for one Topsite..but it made me laugh when I found out some 'Admins' do anything to let the members click on a silly button.
So desperate to get their silly board on the number 1 position.

Some topsites (like ours) rates sites in terms of unique pageviews so it doesn't rely on what forum has members that like to click buttons. People can still cheat the system and some people have by editing the code and making the image 1px x 1px and posting it on active sites like craigslist to generae alot more traffic. As long as the topsite admin is active and bans the cheaters then people cheating shouldn't be a problem and honest users have a good chance to be near the top.

I haven't actually used top sites before although I may try them out.

Topsites are a pretty outdated concept I think. Not too much use any more.

I have never used one for my forum, but have voted for other ones. They don't really have any use anymore, honestly.
