I have a forum and hosting, but I need a full domain.

Not a sub domain but full, so the /index.php or whatever part of the domain would appear after the purchased domain.

If you are getting a domain for them why do you need to know the link it is being pointed to?

If they want a proper .co.uk domain and for it to be parked properly so it shows index.php and so on you need to know the nameservers to point the domain to the server which their forum is hosted on. Then they would either need to use cpanel to park it if they have their own hosting or park it using a tool by their free forum host if they are on a free forum host.
