Anything better than filezilla?

Does anyone know of an FTP that's better than filezilla or does anyone know of a software that lets you edit files easily?

You could try SmartFTP or CoreFTP. I generally just use FZ as it works.

For free on a permanent basis, I don't think so. Though people do say the paid alternatives are better.

WINSCP is good. I tried it a few times.

http://fireftp.mozdev.org/ is a okay FTP client for firefox according to a networking book I read.

Smart FTP is a very very good one, I think the best money can buy in my view. I tried the trial and was amazed.

I personally think FileZilla is the FTP program to use I have never had any issues with it.

If you mean edit files,why not just use notepad++. Filezilla is meant for ftp uploading not editing files.

FileZilla is good for a free FTP program. Haven't used SmartFTP, but I generally hear it's very good for a paid FTP program.

Yeah and I said notepad++ it is for programming aswell. I use it all the time.
