Anywhere I can buy advertising that works?

Hello,

I'm looking for some decent advertising I can buy that will bring decent traffic to my site. Please do not link me to the advertising marketplace, I want to know where you think I should advertise. I've tried various advertising services here but I haven't noticed much of a difference in traffic. In fact, post loop brings in most of my members.

Digital Point is a good place to advertise, you can pay for advertising on tons of other tech forums I am sure. They have a whole advertising marketplace set up.
