If a website has an app which you can use to browse it EG) Facebook, twitter etc will you go to their website or use the application you can download off of the app store. This is for when on mobile/iPad/tablet devices.

Note: results go towards a study at Geeks Hut! 😀

I don't use an App to visit sites. I usually like it much better when they have a style made specially for mobile devices. 🙂

Good luck with your experiment. Remember not to mix the red and blue. Also, make sure you don't cut the red wire.

Yeah, I'd rather them just have a mobile style that's used when accessed by a mobile device. I'm not super opposed to downloading an app, but I'm not really a fan of downloading any apps as I don't want to fill up my phone.

If I was an online worker who uses Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and other websites a lot to promote files like ebooks, websites, digital files, and services, I probably prefer an App if the App is better designed, and faster then the mobile user.

I also prefer an App if I own a high end smartphone like iPhone 4S, Samsung Galaxy Nexus S, or Tablet like the Asus Transformer Prime, New iPad 3, etc since they have enough space for a lot of apps, and the speed to run most apps in the background without slowdown.

But, since I'm just a casual user who only uses a cheap tablet eReader, I'm happy with just a mobile website.

Aren't Apps just mobile browsers which display one website?
