I am currently applying for jobs, mostly online. I was wondering, if there were any tips you had when applying that would help me get an interview/job? Thank you!

If you're applying online, you just need a solid resume (in whatever form the company accepts) and be ready for a call. Don't misspell anything, and don't use text speak. When in an interview, smile and portray confidence.

Don't forget to comb your hear, put a belt on and NEVER sag, dress appropriately, be calm.

Just be yourself
That's usually discouraged 😛

You can find tons of resources on how to do a good interview online. The most important one I found in personal experience and from reading other stories online is to always try to schedule a later interview because this way you are the last one the interviewer sees.

Hand Shake. Firm, Confident. Smile, make eye contact. But I cannot stress the importance of a solid hand shake. Usually, thats enough to seal the deal.

I'd suggest bringing in a CV, exam results or other things that are crucial for getting a place in a job. Coincidentally, I have a college interview coming up next week and I'll be bringing these things with me.

Portray confidence in describing what you can do and bring to the job.
