I'm not talking about bots and fully automatic AI... I mean users that are using AI for part of their post. Perhaps a German user is using AI to translate from/to English. Maybe someone else is posting music, another makes weekly news videos, and another person is writing threads with an LLM.

What do you consider appropriate and inappropriate on your forum?

If someone uses AI to format their own thoughts and it looks like an article, but they wrote the original fully, is that okay? Is that similar to an author with an editor and publicist?

If someone uses AI to write content from scratch without typing anything more than a prompt, is that inappropriate? Or is it similar to a celebrity using a ghost writer to produce the full writing based on their ideas alone?

I think it's fine if someone is using AI to help translate their posts. Also it's fine if they're using it for their avatars and other images.

AI can help with summaries, moderation, translation, or research, but original thinking and lived experience should stay central. If you are using AI, your members should know when AI is used, and it shouldn’t drown out human voices.

Can help with spelling and gramma how ever they should not fully used it as it takes away the human based

I'm finding that on Christianity Haven we have one member who mostly uses AI to formulate responses, and it's in article/blog mode. What I'm seeing is no one wants to reply to that member because no one wants to read those posts. I'm too timid to let this member know that, but it's pretty obvious.
