Aqua Garden

I designed this awhile back for a site called CSS Zen Garden. I think it turned out well considering I was new to the whole concept of typography, white-space, alignment, color theory, and other important web design concepts that I now understand. What do you think of the graphics?

I honestly don't see the beauty in it, it feels very old, 2004 web design to me. Web design has moved on so much lately that this just doesn't appeal to me anymore. CSS3 has provided so many new possibilities...
