Are 3 way links good for link exchanges?

I notice I get some link exchange request in my e-mail where if I post their good link on my site. They will post my link on a poorer quality site which look like a link farm, or random website with poor content then the site that they want me to link to which has no out going links, and is usually a business website with good content.

I usually ignore these Link Exchanges since it seems kind of not worth it.

3 way link exchanges are better than a normal link exchange. It stays under Google's radar. Link farms, on the other hand, are worthless and will get you banned.

It is where all websites in a group hyperlink to everyone in the group. So you are going to have at least 1 link for each website in that group.
