Which phone screen is the most durable? Apple or Android?

I was thinking about this because all of my family with the exception of my dad have had a cracked Apple phone screen. My dad never drops his. My husband and I have androids and have never cracked our screen. How about you?

I’ve had both and smashed two android screens when dropped once but I’ve dropped my iPhones several times and no damage- whether ive just been lucky I don’t know but I’d have to say apple was more durable

We've only ever had Apple phones which have been dropped many times but none of us have had a broken screen. Every phone has always had a screen protector fitted which is probably why.

I always make sure to have a screen protector on my phones. I've never had a cracked screen on either my Android devices or iPhones throughout the years. My wife has dropped her old iPhone 6S and it had a cracked screen, she also had an android before that and did the same thing.

I don't think there is anyone that is more durable between the screens of iPhones and android smartphones. Premium android brands like Samsung, Oppo all have the same level of quality with iPhones in terms of screen quality. If you are hitting your screens all the time, it would surely break.

I think they’re both the same. I have a glass privacy screen protector on my phone 24/7 to try to keep my screen safe.

There are some extremely durable Android phones. I had one that I swear was unbreakable.

In my opinion, neither Apple nor Android phones are automatically more durable just because of the brand. What really matters is the type of glass and the design of the phone. Some Android phones use very strong glass like Gorilla Glass Victus, while Apple uses Ceramic Shield, which is also very tough. Both can survive drops quite well, but they can still crack if they hit the ground the wrong way. So overall, both Apple and Android phones can be very durable, and it mostly depends on the specific model and how well you protect it with a case or screen protector.

I think they are, but I always get good screen protectors and cases so I don't have to worry about damage.

When it comes to phone screens, it is all about intentionality in how you handle your phone screens. None is more durable than the other between Android and Apple phones.
