Google says that automatically generated pages/posts are alright, so long as you take steps to keep those pages from being indexed.

On some forums, (especially Xenforo software), you can add an RSS feed from a site that imports news on a niche.
Just wondering if this type of post would be what Google is talking about blocking.
These rss feeds draw copied content from another site. So maybe Google is suggesting we should block those pages from being indexed too.
From the point of view of a forum owner or admin, it might be useful to have RSS feeds creating niche posts in at least one subforum to have new discussions daily for members to comment on. But, what are the negative SEO downsides for doing so? Could there be a duplicate content issue?
