Well, I do know if society accepted them all as truth, then nothing would be real. It would be an LSD illusion or something from Alice in Wonderland. :wacky: In that case, how could the society function? Anyway, for medium or light cases of conspiracy-itus, what harm do you think is done?

Yes t is.

The most important benefit is that it will stimulate people to think rationally.

Then they give me something to hear to so that I fall asleep sooner 😀

Well, some are fine, but you know the type, they're obsessed.

And yet millions of highly educated people still believe in god because it’s an accepted ‘conspiracy theory’, or at least some of them pretend to believe. Most people just don’t want to be known as crackpots, or heathens unless their friends are crackpots and heathens too.

Well, not wanting to be too weird is normal, but then again, cowardice is unacceptable. Should people say how they feel?

Conspiracies are healthy as long as they foster constructive discussions without causing harm to others. Watergate conspiracies were healthy, as they spurred investigations and public interest. In contrast, the Sandy Hook conspirators caused pain for the victims and even made them fear for their lives. That was clearly not healthy at all.

The reptiles want you to think that conspiracies are bad!

Higher IQ also doesn't make one less likely to believe in what some say is the irrational.

Dreaming is healthy. If you believe or dream there is intelligent life that lives in the stars, or there is another world behind this one, or multiple dimensions and realities exist on top of one another - that's healthy. Believing though in some of the crazier conspiracy theories spoken about by any cuckoo with a podcast - is very unhealthy.
