Do you think detailed posts still valued in fast-Mlmoving communities? Or, do you see shorter, quicker interactions becoming the norm?

Content is king, but it really depends on how you define value. The more ongoing discussions and active engagement a community has, the better, right?

I also believe it’s easier to rank forum posts when the forum already has strong traffic and consistent discussions. Search engines seem to favor active communities where fresh content and user interaction are happening regularly.

I think detailed posts still have value, especially when someone’s genuinely looking for information or help, but fastmoving communities definitely lean more towards shorter and quicker interactions now. Most people scroll fast, so grabbing attention quickly matters more than it used to, but if the content is interesting enough, people will still sit and read a detailed post. It really depends on the platform and the audience.

I think detailed posts help somewhat with SEO.

However, I think they help with human members as long as they're interesting, useful, and they help a member with their biggest issues in your niche.

Always write detailed posts for humans first.

I enjoy writing longer posts for my forum but then again members tend to answer with rather short messages. Probably they don't have anything special to say but want to participate. I am sure it is good for SEO. When I join other forums, I don't mind writing longer posts because I actually have something to say on some topics.
