I'm looking forward to the day when we all have self-driving cars, so we don't have to worry about this any-more.
 
Nope, people never listen and won't learn the impact. Aware that there are good people/drivers but you will get those that are just crazy. Those crazy people that drink will get other killed. The laws for that should keep the same.
 
My brother and his wife drink and drive. Make no bones about it, but they joke like they don't! Note that even a small amount of alcohol is enough to lock you up in this state (Tennessee) - hence "designated drivers". However, though, it's tough to get those people and also public transport here. I mean, it's not like in England, NYC, or Japan.
