Are robots going to increase our quality of life?

What do you think?

At hospitals it's good, but at grocery stores like Wal-Mart? No. People pretend to pay at the Self Check-Out and then proceed to shop lift.

Walmart's CEO has said the retailer may need to close down stores because of theft — and many of the company's customers and employees blame one growing feature of the chain for enabling shoplifting: self-checkout.

I think that robots can most defiantly help in certain areas of life. They will be good for high-risk jobs or scenarios that could preserve human life. Or complete certain tasks that would take humans a lot longer. But I do not like the idea of eventually using robots for majority of the day-to-day jobs.

If robots did everything for us, we'd have more time for forums 😛

Most definetly yes. But, they will make us so lazy it will rebound and make it even worse. We will use that free time for some dumb activities.

I do not even want to think what 50 years is like
