I am a total germaphobe. After doing dishes, touching money, taking out the trash, even touching a doorknob that isn't in my house, I will wash my hands and put sanitizer on it. Even before/after touching my computer, you could probably eat off my keyboard πŸ˜›

I'll somewhat shake hands with people, I don't usually like too but I find it a tad rude when they are trying to shake your hand and I go to "fist bump" them instead. πŸ˜›

Anyone else a germaphobe?

Heck yeah! XD

I'm not as bad with it as I used to be, but I still have issues with it. If I feel something is sidrty I'll run and wash my hands. Thankfully I don't do it as much as I used to. I used to ALWAYS wash my hands. I don't mind like shaking hands and stuff as far as germs, but I'm not really a touchy person either. I'm really just funny about certain things.

Like I used to hate touching batteries. I did finally get over that and will even though it sometimes makes me nervous.

My favorite is at work (work at McDonalds) and if I'm in the drive through taking money if someone was coughing or whatever I'll go wash my hands. But my favorite is when their getting their money and they lick their fingers then touch their money. Soon as I can I'll wash. I mean seriously? That's really disgusting. Actually I think working there helped me get over some of my issues. Not all, but some at least. Like I said I used to be way worse.

I'm not entirely a germa phobe, but when I touch or think of something dirty I get chills.

Yep. πŸ˜›

In public restrooms, I usually turn off the sink and open the door with a paper towel. πŸ˜›

I hope you're not one of those people who gets the paper out THEN washes their hands so when they finish they don't have to touch the paper dispense. πŸ˜›

Depends. πŸ˜› Most machines I interact with don't require touching the mechanism these days, so its not necessary. Usually if it's one of those with a handle, I try to push it with my elbow. If absolutely necessary, yes, I will use the paper towel machine before washing my hands, or maybe I will wash my hands briefly, work the dispenser, and then wash my hands fully. πŸ˜›

I'm an extreme germophobe. I wash my hands about twenty-five times per day. I never used to be a germophobe, but I've gotten really bad in the past few years. The strange thing is that I still get sick all the time even though I disinfect so much.

What I heard, is that the more one tries to disinfect and clean their surroundings, the harder it is to stay healthy. I don't know if it is entirely true or not, that is just what I heard a few years ago.

That may be true, but when you're around kids all day, you definitely want to disinfect your surroundings.

I do love how most restrooms have the sinks and paper towel thingies that do their job automatically. Though the paper towel things sometimes don't like to work right. I'm not too picky these days bout bathroom stuff.

I was when I was younger but now that I'm older I don't as much. I do wash my hands everyday and I'm big on keeping my home nice and clean!

No, not really.

I work in Culinary as a server and it gets pretty messy. I always get food all over my hands and have to touch other people's silverware and glasses. It's a ton of germs but I always wash my hand before, during service, and after work. I'm not really bothered all too much with germs. And I absoloutely hate touching hands with other people. My ex girlfriend hated me for it, haha.

Not really, no. Although, I generally do my best to avoid places like airport bathrooms, public restrooms, and unneeded touching of objects. πŸ˜›

Glad I am not the only one who does this. ._.

I mean as a kid I was dirty, rolling in dirt and not caring about germs but as I grew up I started to wash my hands more and more, and now after touching door knobs or doing the dishes, doing the trash, even brushing my teeth I have to wash my hands. It's horrible. πŸ˜›

I sort of am. I don't really like to see anything dirty, and if I do, usually clean it rightaway. As for germs, I do wash my hands when I need to (I don't watch them loads of times, though). I haven't gotten sick from germs yet, so perhaps I'm doing something right. πŸ˜›
