I've been a picky eater since childhood and still am a picky eater to this day. I avoid going to certain places due to being picky, and sometimes prefer looking over the menu ahead of time.

This is the most complex issue I've dealt with in my life, and due to bad experiences I just am unwilling to try things. I've been forced to try foods by the adults as a kid, so yeah..

, I'd love to hear from others who might be struggling with picky eating. What are your experiences like?

Not really, I eat anything anyway and so I'm not that fuss, End of the day I eat what I can and I do not over eat myself. I eat a very small amount of food anyway.

I've heard of people who if they're having ice cream and jelly they have to have seperate bowls so they don't touch but they go down the same way 😱

I'll eat anything however it has to be prepared properly. I'll stop at balut eggs, I don't think I would attempt to eat one. But crickets and scorpions make great tacos.

Super picky eater here! Had to give up foods because my tolerance for texture changes or similar things.

That is a part of it for some picky eaters/fussy eaters. Not me, though.

Yep, very picky too. I honestly feel like I have a texture issue with veggies and some fruits. I can eat some fruits fine, though.

Yeah, texture issues are my biggest thing. I just can't stand certain things, they will not work for me

Not too particularly picky now, as compared to when I was younger. My main picky issue now, is cost and if it will interact badly with the drinks available at the time of eating.

As long as it's not weird meat, I eat anything. As a kid we always ate vegetarian, brown beans with bread every day and cooked potatoes and cooked whatever vegetables. It was eat what the pot gives you. Dutch cuisine. My mother learned how to cook from her older sister, who often had to cook for 8 brothers and sisters and when they had complaints, she said: Eat it. The goats eat it too.

I'm not picky, but I am a low carb eater... so maybe in that way I am picky.

I've been a picky eater for years and its kinda become a problem for me since my heart attack last month as I have to change up how I eat but I'm managing it for the most part.

Me too. I've been a picky eater for years and some stuff I didn't like as a kid I do like now.

I am supposed to be on a low carb diet, but have not been very good at it.

I don't think I am very picky, but there are many things I haven't had a chance to try so I'm not sure.

It is practically not possible t be a picky eater in my country. Food is a luxury in my country and anyone that is picky about food might end up staying hungry for a long time.
