Are you addicted to using AI? Since I started AI-Forums with @PGen98 I'm using AI daily to test it out in different ways. But I think I'm also slowly getting addicted to it, because I am finding new ways that are useful to me that AI can just handle without my having to use my brain. That's worrisome.
With one exception I don't use it deliberately although in reality I know that I'm using it virtually every time I access the Internet even if it's only to do my banking.
The one exception is I use an AI driven chord recognition app in my studio to speed workflow.
I'm not addicted to it, in fact this sub forum actually got me to go out and use it. I haven't used AI in about a week though, but I think I might look into using it for fun again.
No, I wouldn’t call it addiction. I use AI regularly because it’s useful and saves time, but I try to keep it balanced. If it ever starts replacing my own thinking or real interactions, that’s when I’d step back and reset how I use it.
I do use it, I have to admit 😛 However, I still like to try to do things on my own using my own brain. You use it too much, allow it to takeover then you end up lossing your skills
