Are you quick at picking up things and learning new skills? Why or why not?

I like to say that I am a quick learner. I am always eager to learn new things and work on learning more.

I used to be!! I could learn anything and had a pretty good memory for stupid data, but now, I have difficulties.

I don't think my brain is properly wired. I find some learning ridiculously easy and can subsequently see far beyond the initial learning but I can't work out how to operate a TV remote.

Depends on what it is. Some things at work, I can pick up on pretty quickly, and generally, if I feel like something is relatively straightforward, I feel like I can figure it out and show others how to use it. Other things, not so much. Someone could show me how to stock product or how to set an end cap with product, or just explain to me how it's done, and I could probably do it by myself with minimal help or questions. Other things, like coding, go way over my head. I've tried to learn coding off and on throughout the years, and I have largely struggled with it and given up every time.

Usually, if it's something I can actually do, it helps a lot with me learning how to do it.

My boyfriend has told me recently that he is going to train me on Forex trading. The thing is that the interest is there, and that has made it easier for me to keep focusing on learning from him. I believe that with the connection that we've built, I can be able to learn fast from him so as to impress him 😄

Depends, I'm slow and fast, comes down to the subject. I have a learning disability anyway that doesn't help me.

I was. Now? I'm not sure, when it's something I truly want to learn I can pick it up quickly-ish. When it's something I just want to try, it can be slow and tedious.

It depends on what I'm learning, most tasks I can pick up quickly but others take me a bit to master. One time I was being taught how to run a specific part at work and for whatever reason my brain could not comprehend how I was supposed to run it. I had to wrap it a certain way to get the machine to run it but I just couldn't figure it out so I had to move to a different machine.

I am typically a fast learner for new skills. If it is anything technology related, I will usually pick it up very quickly. But I do have certain things that may take a little bit more time to learn. It really just depends on what I am learning outside of technology, programming etc.
