Are you good at public speaking?

I think for me that I have more confidence in singing in front of a crowd instead of trying to speak to them 😀

I think I have managed to develop a lot more confidence in public speaking now. Only really works if it's something related to what I know quite well and I can recall stuff on the spot.

That's a big part of my problem is not being able to think on the spot! If it's reading something written ahead of time and not having to add in anything else then I think I'm okay but not very good at it.

That is interesting as I would find singing even more terrifying than public speaking (which I find difficult enough as it is 😛). You must be an incredibly good singer in that case!

Sometimes I can't think on the spot well either but I wouldn't mind speaking in front of a crowd and definitely not scared to. People tend to like me in general that I have met in the past. I would be a bit nervous at first if it was something I did on a regular basis but I wouldn't be too nervous to actually do it. One thing I would never do though is sing in front of a crowd. I never even sang at church unfortunately because I just don't like people hearing me sing. I would raise my hand though sometimes in praise to God.

I love public speaking: I tend to struggle in smaller groups however. For me, the larger the crowd the easier it is for me. Weird right? 😛

I've never had stage fright. I don't like being looked at and I'm pretty confident about how I look. I don't like speaking in front of a crowd of people. Fortunately I don't have a career or take part in theater that would require me to do that.

I'm an introvert so I do better writing than actual talking. I tend to get tongue-tied & words come out odd. Even from reading off a paper, I don't do well.

I am a terrible public speaker in regards to anything formal. Job interviews are very difficult for me. 😛

When it came down to presenting some type of speech in school, I felt like I did well, but for all the wrong reasons. I would be so uncomfortable and embarrassed, I'd just make jokes and make everyone laugh. I guess that's how I dealt with it back then. I typically ended up getting a good grade on those types of assignments too. I think my teachers were glad to see that I actually had a personality. I'm 100% an introvert.

I never considered the job interview as public speaking but yeah, I guess it is. As uncomfortable as they are, I do pretty well at job interviews and was hired at my previous job for being honest with them about my entry level Excel knowledge. She said that everyone else said "proficient" and she was tired of hearing that over and over LOL

Are any of your speeches on Youtube?

Nope. There shouldn't be anything of me on YouTube 😀 Well, there might be some secret footage of me singing for talent shows at church but I hope not. I sing well, I just don't want people to know it is me.
