Welcome to the new and improved Arelity Hosting Solutions. All current accounts that are still active will need to be transferred over to the new system, it will be the responsability of the website owner to contact Arelity to initiate the transfer and to keep up to date with the credit for their account.
There are a lot of new changes and features to Arelity, which hopefully, will cut down on the amount of time taken for support to be given, the setting up and maintaining of accounts and there have been several Terms of Service changes. I will run through these below.
Changes
If you have been to Arelity previously then you are familer with the post a certain amount, earn enough points and you can earn a hosting account. These were set up manually by myself and sometimes took longer than necessary for accounts to be set up. One of these changes is a complete new system, it is called WHM Complete Solution and is, as the name suggests, a complete solution to Arelity's needs. Each hosting account will go through this new system so when signing up to the forum you will also need to create an account on our new ordering/billing system. With this new system means a lot of what needed to be done is now automated, after crediting your account you are free to set up any of our available accounts using your available credit. These are automatically set up by the system and are normally up and running within 5-10 minutes of applying for it. This also means that for paying customers they can go straight to this system and pay using paypal and receieve their accounts almost instantly.
Along with the new automated set up system comes also a suspension and termination system, the system automatically generates an invoice each month for every account you have, if you do not have the credit to cover the invoice, or you don't cover it with other funding then our system will automatically suspend your account pending payment, eventually resulting in the termination of the account. If you do not want the account to be suspended or terminated then please make sure that when adding funding that you allow sufficent time between applying for the credit to be added and the creation of the next invoice. You can apply for credit whenever you would like as long as you have the required credits. More about the credit system is located here.
Another big change is our forum system, traditionally we have normally been on a heavily modified IPB 1.3.1 until last version when a copy of IPB 2.3.6 was provided (Although later proved to be pirated by one of the ex admins). I have now taken the time and money to purchase IP.Board 3 along with IP.Content for the website. This means that I can dynamically edit the website from inside of IP.Board's ACP and they are linked in a way that we have not achieved before.
Updates
With new features and changes to our system means that a lot needs to be updated. The Terms of Service is one such update. If you have been a previous Arelity customer or visitor then you may recall that it was Arelity's policy to only allow one free account per customer, however, with this new system in place it would be extremely hard to police this and we have decided that as long as the invoices are paid in full for each account you have then you can have as many accounts as you like. Please be aware of what was said about credit being applied, if the invoice remains unpaid then the account will be suspended and eventually terminated.
Another update is the support system. On the previous forum we had a ticket system linked to the forum, with WHMCS there is a much easier to use and better support ticket solution which we will be making use of. Please only use the ticket system for problems with your hosting account and cPanel not for problems with your website such as coding errors etc. A seperate forum for member to member support is available here
Our website and forum skin will be coming soon, however we decided to open the forum and website as soon as possible as Arelity has been offline for a long time and the revival will be happening in stages. So let me take this moment to welcome you all to the improved Arelity and we hope to be hosting your websites for a long time to come.
We have decided for now to move the forums to the root of the domain for ease of access, our website is currently in the works and will be rolled out as soon as it is ready, along with the forum style.
