What do you think of Arsenal? Personally I think they are a good team, but there is too much focus on good football rather then getting results. Also they need some experience in midfield, the oldest player is Fabregas and he's only 21 (but he is borderline world class). Also I think Bentdner (or however it is spelt) is very over-rated and cannot finish. Arsenal I think are gonna finish 4th this season. They have no consistency, which is there main problem. They can beat Chelsea and Man United, but they lose to Burnley, Fulham, Hull and Man City 3-0 ?

I agree with you mate.
Bendtner is crap. They need to buy some decent wingers and a top class striker.
I think they will come 4th with everton, villa, man city and spurs right up there with them.

I reckon Spurs will only come around mid table, 10th or 11th like last season. I think with Van Persie, Eduardo (back soon) and Adebayor, forwards is not the main area they need to improve. I think they need a new centre back and as you say, new wide players.

For the centre back it seems Alex could be available (Ironic he'd replace Gallas XD) and he seems quite good at the back.

If they wanted another striker, Zaki or Vagner Love would seem good choices.

Also for wingers, Florent Malouda could also be available.

Just my views 😛

Zaki i think had a good first 1/3 of season and i dont really think he is going to be brilliant. He hasn't scored much in the last few games.
Also alex is a good one.
Very good in the air. But i dont think Arsene Wenger has a big enough brain to buy any decent players lol

Nasri is a good player, and Fabregas is a decent player. He doesn't bring anyone in with experience though really. He signs too many young players and not enough experience. And if he signs a player that's getting on a bit, they aren't that good (Manuel Almunia for example, I hope he doesn't get an English passport -lol- )

I think their loss to Burnley comes down to complaicency rather than consistency. Arsenal are a very good team, just don't play well when they need to. I think if they really tried they can finish at least 3rd this season.

The thing that really gets to me is that they almost never have any English players on their starting 11, or their subs for that matter (except Walcott), to make things worse their manager is foreign. I think it's a disgrace that this is allowed to happen, especially considering it's an English club...playing in an English league...in England. ~frown~

Arsenal always seem to be building for the future, they never seem to build for now. Some of the football they play is terrific but they seem to concentrate on playing good football all the time. If you look at the teams they have been beaten by they are tough, tackling teams and you never associate Arsenal being a tough team.

They have lost massive players in the past and replaced them with youngsters. You cannot win the league with youngsters. Compare the team they had in 04 when they won the League and the team they have now, the league winning team contained experienced players and a couple of youngsters.

They really need to improve their squad in January.

Yet another efc post in a football topic which I can't falter. They don't have Vieria, Gilberto, Hleb or Pires anymore. All midfielders who would provide some experience. I think they need a new winger and a new goalie.

Arsenal in my opinion will have a terrific team in a few years but wenger only seems to buy young players and i hate it because we will never win the league until he starts buying some players with exprience.

I hope Wenger buys some players soon (doubt it will be in January though as i can't remember the last time he bought any players mid-season (apart from the cole and gallas exchange).

I think Arsenal is a great team. They have a great back-up goalie too 😀.

United all the way 😛

United just have presuure when dealing with Arsenal, Liverpool etc etc...But Arsenal think they are too good with teams like Hull so they lose :twistedman:

Blah I still miss Dennis 'The Iceman' Bergkamp (1995–2006).

He was a fantastic striker, he was one of my favourite Premiership players.

I saw Eduardo comeback last night for Arsenal in the reserve match at Barnet's stadium.
He only played a half but his movement was very good to say he has been out for that long.
Randall & Gibbs got the goals.
Gibbs goal was the particular highlight, and the chants from the fans was too hillarious.
Anyway, Arsenal have a good team but are too inconsistant, the players only seem to get motivated in the big matches.

I'm glad Arsenal tied Liverpool today. It was a great game, however I was hoping for Arsenal to get another goal in,

I wanted Arsenal to win too, don't want Liverpool to win the league.

Even if Liverpool won they still won't win the league... They can't keep up with Man U and Chelsea as Liverpool rely to much on a couple of players and a team like that can't win the league.

Liverpool are on 39 points at the minute, if Chelsea get beat tonight they will go two points clear and if Chelsea win then they will go second. At the minute it doesn't look like a race between United and Chelsea it looks like a race between Chelsea and Liverpool at the minte.
