Left my job, travelled to Japan, started a new job, got laid off. Sooooooo, it's been an interesting year for sure.

Japan was amazing, I really want to go back!

I sent an application for a big studio that I was interested in. Honestly I thought I was in with a good chance (referrals, experience, all that jazz) but it's been a while and haven't heard anything back. Not holding my breath. :/ There haven't been many other job openings that I've been interested in. I'll likely end up contacting my old employer (the one I left) and going back there. I honestly forgot how awful job applications are, hopefully I'll never have to make another and will just be poached by people for the rest of my life.
