I always enjoyed these types of threads, and I used to have one back when I was originally on the site, but I figured we'd start fresh now that I'm back! Feel free to ask me (almost) anything! If there's anything I'm not comfortable answering, I'll let you know! 🙂
Not currently! Maybe in the future, but right now, I've been perfectly happy just being a regular ol' member of forums with much respect to the staff that are keeping them alive!
Well, right now, I'm a manager in a pet store, and it's more of a love/hate relationship lol. Love the people I work with and being able to interact with pets every day I go into work, but the customers can be a little lot bit crazy sometimes. Mileage, of course, varies depending on the customer, and they're not all awful, but the ones that are can just be the worst. Being able to do fun crafty things and make use of my degree is an added bonus though.
Not that I've really noticed, honestly. I think the only thing I've really noticed is the screen for the radio display goes out sometimes, so I can't see the time or what song is playing (if it's not something I immediately recognize), but it's not really a big enough grievance that I've felt like I need to make a huge deal over it. Everything else has been working fine in the 3 years I've had it, and nothing's really been said when I take it in for service.
Ooh, that's a tough one. Right now, I'm kinda torn between a Jeep and a truck (maybe a Tacoma?), but I've always enjoyed the idea of a 2 door convertible too. For color, I would want either blue or purple, not too dark but not too bright either (like a cerulean blue or a little bit of a darker lavender?).
I bought myself a Christmas gift this year already, and it was well over $250 lol (a new gaming chair because the one I have didn't even last a year). So I'd probably use the $250 to help pay that off. If I hadn't gotten the chair though, I'm not sure. Maybe a new pair of roller skates because I was torn between that and the chair this year (and ultimately decided on the chair).
I like to think I'm pretty good at writing. Definitely not as good as others I've written with and stories I've read over the years, but I feel like I'm relatively decent. I've also been told I'm a pretty good gift giver and that I'm a good listener. One of my managers also likes to tell me I'm good at staying calm even in the face of difficult situations, though usually I'm pretty sure I'm internally stressing lol.
The very loud, obnoxious sound of curbside notifications at work. Sounds like a car horn, and there's nothing like having it go off on multiple devices all at once while you're trying to enjoy your break or even while you're trying to do something and there's multiple devices around you.
I also dislike nails on chalkboard and the scraping sound when dentists clean your teeth.
Bills lol. But besides the obvious answer, sparkling waters. My favorite was the blood orange San Pellegrino, and I have yet to be able to find a solid replacement for it because I can never find it anywhere anymore. Everything I've bought has just been met with disappointment.
